Where acupuncture is appropriate, your plan may include acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine principles and Tuina Chinese medical massage. Treatment is designed to complement—not replace—care from your GP, consultant or physiotherapist.

How much is an appointment and how long does it take?
Initial and follow-up appointments are approximately 40 minutes and cost £84 per treatment session.
Which clinic should I choose?
Pimlico appointments are available on Wednesdays. Teddington appointments are available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Both are by prior arrangement.
What should I bring?
Bring a list of current medicines and any information you think may be relevant. Wear comfortable clothing and have something to eat beforehand unless a healthcare professional has advised otherwise.
Are the acupuncture needles sterile?
Yes. Single-use, sterile acupuncture needles are used and disposed of after treatment.
Will acupuncture replace my existing care?
No. Acupuncture is offered as a complementary approach and should not delay diagnosis, prescribed treatment or care from your GP, consultant, physiotherapist or another appropriate professional.
What if I need to cancel?
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice are free of charge. With less notice, or for a missed appointment, the full treatment fee may be charged.
Is this an emergency service?
No. The website and enquiry form are not monitored for emergencies. Call 999 for a medical emergency or NHS 111 when you need urgent medical help that is not life-threatening.
